The Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) has released the latest update on COVID-19 cases in Manipur. As of today’s 2 PM report, the state has reported a total of 202 cumulative positive cases since the start of the pandemic.
According to the district-wise breakdown, Imphal East has reported the highest number of cumulative positive cases, with 48 cases. Imphal West follows closely, with 137 cumulative positive cases. Other districts, including Bishnupur, Chandel, and Thoubal, have also reported positive cases.
In terms of testing, a total of 653 samples were tested across the state, with 40 samples tested on June 25, 2025. The positivity rate for the day was 32.5%.
The IDSP has also reported that 135 patients are currently under home isolation, with 16 patients discharged in the last 24 hours after completing 7 days of isolation. A total of 50 patients have been cumulatively discharged from home isolation after completing 7 days.
Since the start of the pandemic, Manipur has reported a total of 1,40,242 COVID-19 cases, with 1,37,944 patients discharged and 2,149 deaths.
The IDSP has urged citizens to continue following COVID-19 protocols and guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.
