Churachandpur, Dec 8 — Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar S, accompanied by ADC Mualnuam Thangboi Gangte, conducted an on-site inspection of ongoing NHIDCL projects along NH-102B on Monday, expressing dissatisfaction over slow progress in key stretches.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner noted delays in Packages 4A and 4B, covering the Songtal–Tuivai Bridge section, and instructed NHIDCL officials to accelerate work on a war-footing, citing the State’s limited working season. He also directed the completion of Packages 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B with an emphasis on achieving maximum physical progress in the coming weeks.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner chaired a District Review Meeting at the Mualnuam Sub-Divisional Headquarters, attended by ADC Mualnuam Thangboi Gangte, ADC Churachandpur Seiminthang Lenthang, District Level Officers from various departments, and NHIDCL representatives.
DLOs presented departmental updates and progress reports through PowerPoint presentations, highlighting achievements under ongoing schemes and programmes. The review stressed the need for coordinated efforts to ensure timely execution of development initiatives across the district.
