March 3, 2025: “Small initiatives taken up by each officer could help in the holistic development of the district,” stated Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, Krishna Kumar, IAS, while addressing a District Level Officers’ (DLO) Meeting at the Conference Hall of DC Jiribam today.
During the meeting, the DC reviewed various schemes and programmes implemented by different line departments through PowerPoint presentations. He emphasized that District Level Officers and officials should focus on performance along with their regular duties. He also stressed that every staff member should be stationed at their place of posting and provide services to the entire district to the fullest extent possible.
Highlighting the District Administration’s commitment to supporting officials, the DC encouraged officers to report any challenges they face while rendering their services. He also urged all departments to prioritize organizing awareness programmes across the district, ensuring that the public is well-informed about new government schemes and initiatives rather than limiting activities within office spaces.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, Th. Manoranjan, Sub-Divisional Officer Jiribam/Borobekra, Laishram Roshan, BDOs, SDCs, and various district-level officers.
