Bishnupur Deputy Commissioner Pooja Elangbam, accompanied by Chief Medical Officer Dr. L. Raichandra, visited the Community Health Centre (CHC) Ningthoukhong on Tuesday to review the newly constructed building and assess the overall functioning of the centre.
During the visit, the Medical Officer In-charge briefed them on the status of the new construction, manpower position, infrastructure, and maintenance of the existing centre. Elangbam encouraged doctors and nurses to continue providing their best efforts, stressing the vital role of their service in saving lives, and assured full support from the district administration.
She also inspected the progress of construction work and appealed for timely completion of finishing touches. Medical officers and staff expressed gratitude for the visit and the encouragement extended by the district leadership.
