A shocking case of animal abuse has come to light in the Kailash Nagar area of Shahdara district, where Delhi Police apprehended a man identified as Naushad for allegedly sexually assaulting multiple female dogs. The arrest was made following a complaint filed by an animal welfare NGO, where the accused was reportedly employed as a supplier.
According to reports, the NGO alleged that the man had raped at least 12 to 13 dogs. A video related to the incident has gone viral on social media, in which the accused can be seen being confronted and assaulted by a group of individuals. In the footage, one of the men is heard questioning him about the number of dogs he had allegedly raped.
The video, which was shared by an animal rights activist on the social media platform X, also showed the accused in custody. The activist reportedly tagged Delhi Police, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the office of the Lieutenant Governor, and several other political leaders, demanding strict action. Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is currently underway.
