DESAM organised a “Meet the Media Fraternity” programme today at its head office located at Keisampat Junction to interact with members of the media fraternity.
The programme was attended by Editors’ Guild Manipur General Secretary Yumnam Rupachandra Singh, All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union General Secretary Khwairakpam Naoba Singh, and DESAM President Mayengbam Somorjit Meitei, who participated as dignitaries and speakers.
Representatives from various print and electronic media organisations also took part in the interaction.
During the programme, DESAM extended appreciation to journalists for their role in informing the public and maintaining transparency, while engaging in an open exchange of views with the media fraternity.
