Amid growing concerns over rising cases of rabies in Churachandpur district, Director of Health Services, Chambo Gonmei, visited the district today to assess the situation firsthand.
A key meeting was convened at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Mini Secretariat. The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including officials from the district administration, veterinary department, and health department, to review the ongoing situation and coordinate response efforts.
Discussions focused on preventive measures, availability of anti-rabies vaccines, public awareness campaigns, and coordination between departments to control the spread of the disease.
