The District Administration of Churachandpur, led by Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar, has intensified relief efforts for internally displaced persons (IDPs) residing in relief camps beyond the district headquarters.
As part of the ongoing initiative, Dharun Kumar visited multiple camps in Sangaikot and Saikot Blocks today, engaging directly with the affected individuals. He listened to their grievances and assured them of timely assistance, urging them to trust the administration and security forces while maintaining cooperation for law and order in the region.
Beyond inspecting the relief camps, the DC also visited villages, schools, and health centers in the affected areas, interacting with students and staff to ensure the continuity of essential services.
Dharun Kumar was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Thangboi Gangte, CEO Lalthazam, and other district-level officers during the visit. Under his leadership, the administration remains committed to providing continued support, with plans to inspect the remaining relief camps in the coming days.
