Chandel, September 6: The District & Sessions Court of Chandel district was inaugurated on Saturday by Hon’ble Mr. Justice K. Somashekar, Chief Justice of the High Court of Manipur. The ceremony was held at the Chandel Court Complex in the august presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice A. Bimol Singh and Hon’ble Mr. Justice A. Guneshwar Sharma, Judges of the High Court of Manipur, and Shri Anurag Bajpai, Additional Chief Secretary of the Government of Manipur.
The inauguration programme, initiated by the Law & Legislative Affairs Department, Government of Manipur, was attended by N. Keertichand Singh, Secretary (Judicial) of the Government of Manipur, Ojesh Mutum, Registrar General of the High Court of Manipur, L. Nandakumar, Deputy Commissioner of Chandel, Dhamendra Tyagi, Superintendent of Police, Chandel, officials of the District Bar Association, Chandel, and other district-level officers.
