Udyam registration drive conducted to help local entrepreneurs access government benefits
Chandel district organized an awareness programme for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme at Tampi Village, Chakpikarong Block, on 3rd September.
The event, spearheaded by the General Manager of the District Industries Centre, Chandel, was attended by DLC-RAMP Chandel Chairperson Th. Bijoy Singh, DLC members ST. Wanhring Anal and Langhu Mono, Chief of Tampi Village, as well as local SHG representatives and villagers.
During the programme, Th. Bijoy Singh highlighted the benefits of the RAMP project and emphasized the importance of Udyam registration for MSMEs to avail government schemes and incentives. He encouraged participants to leverage the Aspirational Block Programme under NITI Aayog to establish sustainable sources of livelihood through local enterprises.
ST. Wanhring Anal conducted the technical session, followed by interactive discussions with resource persons and on-the-spot Udyam registrations for attendees. The initiative aimed to empower the community by promoting entrepreneurship and improving access to government support for MSMEs in the region.
