Drug-Free Poster Campaign Held at Hiyanglam; 80 Volunteers Join Cycle Rally

A one-day Drug-Free Poster Campaign was organised today jointly by the Hiyanglam Wabagai Village Level Federation (VLF) and Hiyanglam Police Station, drawing around 80 participants from the community.

As part of the campaign, a Cycle Rally themed “Drug-Free Society” was conducted from Wabagai Bazar to different localities of Hiyanglam.

Participants held banners and placards carrying strong anti-drug messages such as “Mayai Kaba Yu, Kwa, Talab amadi Churup Beridagi Lapthok-u,” “Eramdam Kalhousi,” and “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life.”

Speaking during the programme, Koijam Ranibala Devi, Community Resource Person (CRP) of Lingjelthoibi VLF under the Social Inclusion and Social Development (SISD) initiative, stressed the need for collective action against the growing threat of substance abuse and the importance of supporting youth in choosing a healthier path.
