Feb 24, 2025: Two individuals, one male and one female, have been arrested in Mizoram with 57.69 grams of heroin worth Rs 40.38 lakhs from the general area of Lunglei Town in Lunglei District, Mizoram.
The arrest was made jointly by the Excise and Narcotics Department and Assam Rifles in Mizoram on the 22nd of February while the duo was traveling with the contraband item on a moped vehicle.
The duo has been handed over to the concerned police station for further investigation and legal proceedings.
