Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee President Keisham Meghachandra Singh today warmly welcomed several BJP leaders from Singa Village, Thoubal District, into the Indian National Congress.
Prominent among the new joiners are former BJP Pradhan Md Helim and former Pradhan Md Fajal, who is currently serving as a member of the Administrative Committee. The joining programme took place at Singa Village under Wangkhem Assembly Constituency.
Speaking at the event, Meghachandra Singh said the induction of grassroots leaders into the Congress reflects growing public trust in the party’s vision and direction.
The development is seen as a significant political move in the constituency, ahead of key political activities in the state.
