The Thoubal District VDF Welfare Association has provided ₹2.5 lakh to the family of late VDF Md. Ajmir, who passed away recently due to illness. The amount was handed over on Saturday by SP Manoj Prabhakar M, IPS, at the deceased’s residence in Lilong Haoreibi Chandrakhong.
The association’s support comes from the welfare fund of the Thoubal District VDF Welfare Association. It is said that late Md. Ajmir was posted at ITI Lilong, and his VDF number was 112.
Senior officers, including H. Devendra, MPS, Additional SP (Ops); Y. Sunanta, MPS, DySP (Ops) Thoubal; Y. Shankerdash, Sub-Inspector, RO Thoubal; and members of the VDF Welfare Association Thoubal, accompanied the SP.
SP Thoubal assured continued support to the deceased’s family and to all VDF personnel in the district for their welfare.
