Farmers and farmer groups from the state can now avail financial assistance under the National Food Security & Nutrition Mission (NFSNM) for the year 2025–26, and applications for the same have now been opened by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Manipur.
The application is open to all farmers and registered farmer groups, who will receive subsidies and support to boost food grain production and strengthen nutritional security through sustainable farming.
The number of beneficiaries who will be provided benefits will be subject to the availability of funds under the scheme. The last date of application has been fixed as the 9th of August.
The application format and details of the rate of assistance for availing benefits under the scheme are available on the department’s website, www.agrimanipur.com, and can also be obtained from the office of the respective District Agriculture Officers, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officers, and the Directorate of Agriculture, Sanjenthong.
