Feb. 08, 2025: Manipur Police, during a search operation and area domination exercise on Friday, recovered a cache of firearms, hand grenades, and other items concealed inside a plastic sack from the fringe areas between Aigejang foothills, under Nambol Police Station, in Bishnupur District.
The recovered items include:
- 01 (one) .303 Rifle
- 01 (one) Bolt Action Rifle
- 02 (two) SBBL Guns
- 01 (one) .22 Pistol with magazine
- 01 (one) 9mm Pistol with magazine
- 05 (five) 36 HE Hand Grenades
- 01 (one) Chinese HE Hand Grenade
- 04 (four) 40mm HE Lethod Grenades
- 01 (one) long-range modified Mortar shell
- 02 (two) 2-inch Mortar HE shells with carrier
Other recovered items include:
- 10 (ten) SLR empty cases
- 02 (two) Tear Gas Grenades
- 01 (one) Stun Grenade
- 01 (one) Smoke Grenade
- 02 (two) Smoke Shell Soft Nose (LR 135 MTR)
- 03 (three) Smoke Shell Soft Nose (SR 50 MTR)

- 01 (one) Wood Piercing Shell (CS)
- 04 (four) Anti-Riot Rubber Bullets
