The Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS), Manipur has expressed sincere gratitude to all who made the observance of “Aniraksuba 3/5 Ningshing Numit” (the 2nd 3/5 Remembrance Day) a success on Sunday, held under the theme “Bridging Divides for the Shared Future” at the Yumnam Khunou Community Hall in Imphal East.
The event commemorated the lives lost and the suffering endured since the violence allegedly instigated by Chin-Kuki-Zo militant groups. FOCS condemned the sustained threats to Manipur’s unity and called on the Centre to take stronger action to bring peace to the state.
FOCS also thanks all the participants, including civil society groups, intellectuals, Meira Paibi, and youth clubs, who actively took part in making the day successful.
FOCS further expressed appreciation for the support received from the local transport community.
