March 3, 2025: Former Manipur CM N Biren Singh visited the shrine of ‘Ibudhou Marjing’ at his home turf in Heingang to offer prayers for a bright and better Manipur. He also inspected the Heingang Polo Ground during the day, a site deeply connected to the heritage of polo.
Soon after the prayer, N Biren Singh wrote on his personal social media account, “May his divine wisdom bring peace, progress, and harmony to each one of us and guide the people towards building a better future for Manipur.”
Days earlier, N Biren Singh also inspected the ongoing construction of a stadium at Luwangsangbam Football Ground under his constituency. He said in a post, “Once completed, the stadium will provide a dedicated space for players to practice and nurture aspiring football talents, further strengthening Manipur’s rich sporting culture.”
