The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) today observed the 9th death anniversary of former Chief Minister and veteran statesman Shri Rishang Keishing at Congress Bhawan, B.T. Road, Imphal.
The solemn programme was attended by Manipur PCC President K. Meghachandra, CLP Leader O. Ibobi Singh, CWC Member Gaikhangam, among other leaders, along with a large number of party workers.
Speaking on the occasion, CLP Leader O. Ibobi Singh recalled the late leader as a true statesman who always placed Manipur’s unity and integrity above politics.
Floral tributes were offered at the portrait of the late leader, followed by a prayer for peace to the departed soul.
