Former IUCB Director Joins Christmas Celebrations Across Keirao AC

Imphal, Dec 25: Amid the joyous observance of Christmas on December 25, people from different communities across Keirao Assembly Constituency (AC) came together to celebrate the festival with prayers, fellowship, and the exchange of greetings, reflecting the spirit of peace and unity.

As part of the celebrations, former Director of Imphal Urban Co-operative Bank (IUCB) Limited, Dr. Longjam Suranjoy of Kyamgei Awang Leikai, popularly known as “Epu,” visited several church congregations and villages within Keirao AC and took part in Christmas programmes held at different locations.

He extended Christmas greetings and conveyed messages of harmony and mutual respect.

Dr. Suranjoy visited villages including Phunal Maring Chingthak, Chingkha, Phunal Maring Khunou, Shandang Senba Maring, Karpur Shungba Maring, Tamram, Poirou, and Chiru, where local residents and church members warmly received him and shared the festive joy.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Suranjoy highlighted the significance of Christmas as a symbol of peace, love, compassion, and unity among people.

He expressed hope that the spirit of togetherness witnessed during the celebrations would strengthen bonds among communities.
