Speaking at the event, Lukhoi highlighted the courage of the forefathers who successfully defended the state against various aggressions with swords, spears, and shields, stressing the need to uphold and carry forward this legacy.

The inauguration ceremony included the hoisting of the Lord Pakhangba-emblemed flag, followed by a salute from Lukhoi and other dignitaries, including Advocate Khuraijam Kanta, Music Director Sorri Senjam, Thongkhong Luxmi Municipal Council Chairperson Yumnam Jamuna Devi, and Ward No. 1 Councilor Chandam Renubala Devi, who attended as presidium members.
