Feb. 13, 2025: In an operation, Manipur Police has arrested four (04) active cadres of KCP (PWG) from their camp at Kameng Sabal under Lamsang Police Station in Imphal West District on Thursday, along with arms and other incriminating items.
According to police, the arrested persons have been identified as Takhelmayum Victor (23), Huidrom Vikash Singh @ Sanamacha (25), Oinam Naocha @ Max (19), and Awungshi John (33) from their camp at Kameng Sabal in the Lamsang area.
The arrested persons are said to be involved in recent extortion activities, including serving monetary demands and collecting money from the general public, shops, stone crushers, government employees, and pharmacies, etc., located in and around the Imphal area.
From their possession, the police recovered:
Three (03) .32 pistols loaded with seven (07) rounds
Two (02) 9mm pistols loaded with ten (10) rounds
One (01) 9mm empty case
One hundred thirteen (113) donation cards
One (01) Baofeng handset
Three (03) mobile handsets
Two (02) two-wheelers
Two (02) notebooks
