EcoNetwork Manipur, in collaboration with the Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Dental College, RIMS, Imphal, organised a transformative dental health camp at Kodompokpi Relief Camp today.
This initiative, part of “Nanhi Muskan – Outreaching Activities for the Underprivileged Children under ISPPD 2025,” aimed to enhance the well-being of children and adolescents residing at the relief camp.
Led by Dr. Bhoomika Wairokpam, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, the camp provided essential oral health screenings and treatments. Dr. Anjuman Shahni Kh and a dedicated team from various dental specialties conducted awareness sessions on communicable diseases, emphasising oral hygiene practices like proper brushing and handwashing techniques.
The event also featured generous donations from Books and Coffee, Singjamei Thokchom Leikai, including books, notebooks, colouring materials, and stationery.
