Girl Power: All 1st Position Holders Are Girls, EK & TG Secure Top 3 Spots in Arts & Commerce Respectively

The most-awaited results of the XII Examination-2025, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM), have been declared at the COHSEM hall in Babupura, Imphal.

In the Arts stream, Keisham Hannah Devi from Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary, Sangkhakphal secured the first position, followed by Harsh Maisnam and Sagolsen Inungangbi from the same school in 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

In the Science stream, Riya Kkwairakpam from Comet School claimed the 1st position, with Medicianan Moriangthem from Herbert School at 2nd, and Silvia Lukram from Comet School at 3rd.

In the Commerce stream, Warepa Lidia from TG Higher School secured 1st position, followed by Yaifabi Sapam from TG Higher Secondary School at 2nd, and Devia Mayenglamba and Prithita Yumnam from TG Higher Secondary jointly at 3rd.

The official announcement ceremony was graced by N. Praveen Singh, IAS Secretary (Education), as the chief guest, and COHSEM Chairman I. Ojit Singh as the president. Director of Education-S N.G. Bhogendro Meitie, Additional Director Bisheshwar Khumucham, MCS, COHSEM Secretary K.H. Ashnikumar, and COHSEM Controller of Exams O. Joy Singh were also present as guests of honour.

This year, a total of 29,065 students appeared for the COHSEM XII Exam 2025, which was conducted from February 17 to March 26 across 112 exam centres in Manipur. Additional centres were set up with 74 in the valley districts and 38 in the hill areas.

Out of the total students, 20,893 were from the Science stream, 7,632 from Arts, and 540 from Commerce. Government Education Department officials oversaw the examination process across all centres.
