Imphal, March — Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of Sajibu Nongma Panba Cheiraoba, the traditional New Year festival of the Meitei community.
In his message, the Governor highlighted that Cheiraoba signifies renewal, hope, and the beginning of a new year filled with optimism and aspirations. He noted that the festival reflects the rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions of the state, promoting family bonding, respect for elders, and harmony within society.
