Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Diwali. He highlighted that the festival of lights symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil.
In his message, the Governor called for a celebration that reinforces togetherness, compassion, and hope. “As homes and hearts glow with the radiance of diyas, may this festival inspire us to strengthen the bonds of unity, harmony, and mutual respect among all communities in the state,” he said.
He also urged people to celebrate with joy and responsibility, spreading happiness and goodwill while taking care to maintain cleanliness and protect the environment. Concluding his message, the Governor wished that Diwali brings peace, prosperity, and progress to every household in Manipur.
