Imphal, November 10 — A delegation from the Manipur Olympic Association, led by its President Sunil Elangbam and accompanied by three members, called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, today.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Governor on the association’s ongoing activities and discussed strategies for the holistic development of sports in the state. They also shared proposals aimed at nurturing young athletes, improving infrastructure, and expanding opportunities for sports promotion across Manipur.
Governor Bhalla appreciated the initiatives taken by the association and commended their commitment to advancing sports culture in the state. He expressed confidence that such efforts would further strengthen Manipur’s reputation as a hub of sporting talent in the country.
