Governor of Manipur Ajay Kumar Bhalla conducted a review of the Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) at Raj Bhavan, focusing on ways to improve the Mission’s reach and effectiveness.
During the meeting, the Director of MSRLM and senior officers presented updates on ongoing projects designed to uplift rural communities. Discussions covered progress under key initiatives, financial management, manpower requirements, and other agendas.
Particular emphasis was placed on the activities of Self-Help Groups, Rural Self Employment Training Institutes, and skill training programmes for Internally Displaced Persons. The Governor instructed officials to further strengthen manpower and expand the outreach of projects and schemes to ensure stronger impact at the grassroots level.
