Imphal, March 9: Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Monday felicitated four NCC cadets from the state who represented Manipur at the Republic Day Parade and the NCC Prime Minister’s Rally held in New Delhi this year.
The cadets — CUO Konsam Moramba Meitei, CUO Ningthoujam Pinky Devi, CSUO Swaty Laishram and SUO Leitanthem Chanchan Devi — were presented with cash rewards in recognition of their participation and achievement. Congratulating the cadets, the Governor commended their commitment and encouraged them to continue upholding the values of discipline and service to the nation.
During the programme, the Group Commander of NCC Headquarters Imphal and other officers briefed the Governor about training initiatives carried out by different NCC units across Manipur.
The officers also informed that training sessions had been conducted for NCC cadets from Churachandpur at Dimapur as part of efforts to ensure continued training and participation of cadets from various districts of the state.
