Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, accompanied by First Lady Jyoti Bhalla, hosted the traditional ‘At Home’ reception at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, this evening to mark the 79th Independence Day.
The reception was attended by Members of the Legislative Assembly, senior civil, police, and military officers, awardees, eminent personalities, and special invitees. In his address, the Governor extended warm Independence Day greetings, welcomed the dignitaries, and expressed appreciation for their presence.
Guests viewed video presentations on Harmony in Freedom and a choreography on Har Ghar Tiranga. The evening concluded in a warm and convivial atmosphere, with high tea served to all attendees.
