The Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, extended his warmest greetings to the people of Manipur, with special wishes to the Jain community, on the sacred occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.
In his message, the Governor paid tribute to Lord Mahavira, describing Him as the epitome of peace and non-violence. “Lord Mahavira illuminated the world with His teachings of love, compassion, and selflessness. His timeless message of harmony and coexistence continues to inspire humanity across generations,” he said.
The Governor urged all to reaffirm their commitment to the principles of righteousness, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence, as taught by Lord Mahavira. “May His teachings guide us towards a more compassionate and peaceful society,” he added.
Bhalla concluded by conveying his heartfelt wishes to the people of Manipur on this auspicious day.
