To commemorate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, BJP Manipur Pradesh President Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi launched the ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar Ghar Swadeshi’ campaign during a press meet held at the party’s state office, Thambal Shanglen, Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal West, on Thursday.
Speaking to the media, Sharda Devi said the campaign is part of the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat 2047 initiative, which envisions making India a fully developed and self-reliant nation by the 100th year of independence.
She highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. The ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar Ghar Swadeshi’ campaign, she said, seeks to encourage citizens to support locally made products and strengthen indigenous industries.
Sharda Devi further noted that the Make in India initiative continues to be a vital pillar of the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat mission, aimed at empowering local entrepreneurs and promoting innovation and self-employment. She urged the people of Manipur to actively participate in the campaign by prioritizing indigenous goods and contributing to the vision of a self-reliant India.
