Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Ignites Patriotic Spirit at Manipur University

The NSS Cell of Manipur University launched its Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025 with a vibrant celebration of patriotism and unity at the Department of Anthropology today.

The programme, chaired by NSS Programme Coordinator Dr. L. Santosh Singh along with Programme Officers Dr. Kh. Herachandra Singh and Dr. H. Suraj Singh, brought together NSS volunteers, M.Sc. students, research scholars, and school children.

The highlight of the event was a talk by Dr. T. Deepamanjuri Devi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, who traced the origin and development of the Indian National Flag, exploring its role in India’s freedom struggle and nation-building.

The day’s activities also included a Tiranga Rangoli Art Competition and a quiz on the national flag, both of which drew enthusiastic participation.

The programme culminated in a patriotic rally, with participants marching while holding the Tricolour aloft.

Dr. Santosh Singh, in his closing remarks, thanked all contributors from volunteers to the media for making the campaign a success and reaffirming the values symbolised by the Tiranga.
