Feb 3, 2025: Members of the Universal Friendship Organization (UFO) commemorated the sacred tradition initiated by its founder, the late RK Manisana, with solemn deep processions.
The rituals took place at Paotak Hiden, nestled in the river flanking the eastern side of Kangla Fort, and at Puruk Soubi within the revered shrine of Lord Pakhangba in Erilbung.
Highlighting the profound historical significance of these locations, T. Wanglen, Publicity Secretary of UFO, emphasized that the annual program aims to preserve and uphold their cultural heritage.
This tradition, observed diligently each year, highlights the organization’s commitment to safeguarding these sites for future generations, he added.
