The National People’s Party (NPP) has appointed Irengbam Hemochandra Singh as its new National Vice President for the 2025–2028 term.
The appointment was made through a notification issued in Shillong by NPP National President Conrad K. Sangma, who exercised his powers under Article 11 of the party’s constitution.
In a separate order issued by the Manipur State Unit, President Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze announced a reshuffle within the State Executive Committee following approval from the national leadership.
Dr. Ph. Jilasana Sharma has been appointed as Senior Vice President of the Manipur unit, while Maibam Dhanabir has been assigned the role of General Secretary (Organisation).
The position of General Secretary (Administration) has been entrusted to Lakpachui Siro.
