Representatives of various Civil Society Organisations of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) met the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, to apprise him of the challenges and grievances faced by the displaced communities. The delegation highlighted concerns regarding road accessibility, resettlement in their original homes, education, healthcare, and the provision of housing.
Governor Bhalla assured the delegation that these issues have already been taken up with the concerned authorities and emphasized that sustained efforts are underway to resolve them at the earliest. The meeting was also attended by the Commissioner (Home) and the Secretary to the Governor.
