March 24, 2025 : Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) students from Churachandpur district were recently given the opportunity to visit the Water Amusement Park at Thenguchingjin, thanks to arrangements made by concerned authorities.
The students were provided with free passes to the park, as promised by the Meitei Society, Churachandpur representatives during their visit to the residence of former Chief Minister N. Biren Singh ahead of the Yaoshang festival.
The former Chief Minister shared the heartwarming update on his social media handles, expressing his appreciation for the efforts of those involved.
He thanked the officials of the Department of Tourism for arranging the tour and the Manipur Police Housing Corporation Limited for offering refreshments and necessary support to the students.
Additionally, N. Biren acknowledged the contributions of workers and BJP Karyakartas from Heingang AC, whose efforts ensured the success of the visit.
Accompanying the post were video clips from the visit, showcasing the smiles and joy of the displaced students as they enjoyed their day at the park, a much-needed moment of relaxation amidst their challenging circumstances.
