Thoubal, Dec 22 — The Imphal–Moreh Highway Welfare Committee (IMOHWCO), formed in 2017 to serve the public along the Imphal–Moreh Highway, extended Christmas wishes to its members today. President L. Shubash and General Secretary Angkong Saka led the event, distributing greetings to members from various groups.
The Committee appealed to all groups along the highway to celebrate the festive season with joy and harmony.
Quoting a passage from the Holy Bible, President Laishram Shubash stated that as the Christmas season is with us, people should forget past sorrows, anger, jealousy, and violence, and prepare their hearts to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ, who came to give peace on earth and save all people of the world, which is a great joy for humanity.
He further added that, on behalf of the Imphal–Moreh Highway Welfare Committee, they requested every member of the committee to accept their small Christmas gift and pray for the well-being and peace of Manipur in the days to come.
