In the aftermath of the heavy rainfall and devastating floods that affected large parts of Manipur from May 29 to June 2, 2025, the Deputy Commissioner of Imphal East District, Dr. Nivedita Lairenlakpam, has issued a notice urging all affected residents to submit their damage reports.
Residents of Imphal East District, particularly those impacted by the flood, are requested to submit details of the damage in the prescribed format along with photographs. The reports must be submitted to the concerned Sub-Deputy Collectors (SDCs) or Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs) of their respective jurisdictions by June 20, 2025.
The officials designated for this process include Sapam Jotin (SDO, Porompat), Khwairakpam Lenin Singh (SDO, Sawombung), Laishram Roshan Singh (SDO, Keirao Bitra), S. Premananda Singh (SDC, Porompat), N. Ratankumar Singh (SDC, Heingang), James Konsam (SDC, Bashikhong), Nirva Sapam Devi (SDC, Sawombung), Ranjan Wahengbam (Sagolmang), Arambam Geetanjali (Keirao Bitra), and Irom Nirmal Singh (Tulihal).
Dr. Lairenlakpam has appealed to the public to cooperate and ensure timely submission so that appropriate relief and assistance can be extended to those in need.
