Security forces conducted intensive search operations and area domination in fringe and vulnerable areas of both hill and valley districts. During the operation at Phayeng Makha Leikai under Lamsang Police Station in Imphal West District, a significant cache of improvised weapons, military gear, and other items was recovered.
The seized items include 2 improvised rockets, 2 improvised mortar pompi, 3 helmets, 8 BP plates, 12 military pants, 6 military shirts, 9 military T-shirts, 11 pairs of military shoes, 3 military P-caps, 1 jungle cap, 2 military sweaters, and 5 official party flags of the proscribed outfit PLA. Additionally, 1 blanket, 2 scarves, 3 civil jogging shirts, 2 civil T-shirts, and 1 civil pant were also recovered.
The operation underscores the continued vigilance of security forces in maintaining law and order in sensitive areas.
