In Hard Flight Times: Alliance Air came as knight in shining armour from Imphal Airport

Like a knight in shining armour, Alliance Air came to support and backed up with additional flights from Imphal from yesterday till midnight after some flight operators cancelled flights to Guwahati and Kolkata, and all the flights received 100 per cent occupancy.

The efforts of Alliance Air and its team in Imphal have been highly commended by the passengers and Imphal Airport for their timely assistance and dedicated service till midnight.

IndiGo on Sunday cancelled a total of 650 flights and announced that it expects operations to stabilise by December 10, the airline said in a statement. Passengers at airports across Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and others remained affected amid the disruptions. A week after the nationwide flight disruption, the Civil Aviation Ministry said IndiGo has refunded ₹610 crore and delivered 3,000 bags to affected passengers. The airline restored over 1,500 flights and targets full network stabilisation by December 10, with OTP improving to 75%.

The airline that usually serves approximately 2,300 flights per day performed more than 1,500 flights on Saturday and is scheduled to perform approximately 1,650 flights on Sunday, reconnecting to 135 of its 138 destinations.

CEO Pieter Elbers confirmed On Time Performance has achieved 75 per cent in the airline and emphasized that previous cancellations have ensured that passengers are not arriving at the airports unnecessarily. IndiGo estimates that it will take until December 10 to complete the stabilisation process of the network.
