The N. Surendra Singh Memorial, Manipur University Inter-College Best Physique (Male) Competition 2025–2026, hosted at the Auditorium Hall of Standard College, Kongba, brought together 18 participants from 12 institutions in a spirited display of strength and discipline.
Organised under the aegis of the Manipur University Sports Committee and conducted by the All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA), the event highlighted the growing enthusiasm for bodybuilding among college students.
In the 65 kg category, Sangjenbam Kumjalemba of NG College, Lamphel secured the first position. RK Mangal of Standard College, Kongba claimed the top spot in the 70 kg category, while Thokchom Yaisana Meitei of Standard College, Kongba emerged champion in the 75 kg category. Mayanglambam Olenjit of SEMCO, Kakching Khunou dominated the 80 kg category and was later declared the Overall Champion of the tournament.
No athlete was selected in the 60 kg and 85 kg categories. In the 90 kg category, Ksh. Niraj Singh of Kha Manipur College, Kakching was selected, and in the 90 kg and above category, Chandam Kangleinganba of NG College, Lamphel earned selection.
Standard College, Kongba clinched the Team Champion title with 16 points, while SEMCO, Komlathabi finished as the Team Runner-Up with 10 points, marking a successful conclusion to a competitive and energetic championship.
