The internationally acclaimed British band Blue arrived at Imphal Airport this morning as part of their ongoing world tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of the band. This marks their maiden visit to Manipur, adding special significance to their appearance at this year’s Sangai Music Festival.
The group received a warm welcome from festival organisers, who greeted them with traditional shawls and bouquets. Excited fans gathered at the airport to catch a glimpse of the iconic pop band, whose arrival has sparked a wave of anticipation across Imphal.
As part of their India tour, Blue will also perform in Gangtok, Shillong, and Bengaluru in December.
Organisers also confirmed that popular rock band Girish and the Chronicles will be performing at the festival tomorrow, further elevating the star-studded musical lineup. Back-to-back major acts are expected to significantly boost audience turnout and add more vibrancy to this year’s edition.
