Thoubal, Dec 05: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed in connection with the death of Soibam Kesho in a tragic hit-and-run incident at Babu Bazar has expressed its gratitude to the Thoubal District Police for arresting the accused and recovering the vehicle involved.
A JAC delegation led by convenor Soibam Seitajit met SP Thoubal Manoj Prabhakar M, IPS, along with SDPO Thoubal Oinam Ajit, MPS, O.C. Thoubal S. Ibomcha, and other investigating officers at the SP Office on Friday. During the meeting, the delegation conveyed their appreciation for the swift police action.
The JAC further lauded the police team for their dedication and prompt response in pursuing justice for the victim.
SP Manoj Prabhakar M assured that the police will continue to work for the safety and security of the public. He also appealed to citizens to cooperate with law enforcement authorities in maintaining peace and order.
