Manipur’s Jeena Potsangbam has been appointed as the Managing Director (North-East Region) of the Innovative Livelihood Multi-State Co-operative Society Ltd. (ILCS) under the Centre’s Viksit Bharat Project Mission-2047 Initiative.
She takes on the new role as ILCS launched its first flagship initiative — the “JANHIT” Electric Vehicles (EVs) project in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with HOTAGE Overseas Pvt. Ltd. She attended the launch as a guest of honour alongside dignitaries including Jaikant Singh, Director General of IIT Patna & Project Head, and legal consultant R.P. Pahwa.
In addition to her new assignment, Jeena is also a Governing Board Member of Tribhuvan Sahakar (Govt. of India) and a Governing Council Member of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), New Delhi.
ILCS is working with IIT Patna and IIT Bombay to promote innovative livelihood projects, with the EV initiative marking the first step in advancing the Mission-2047 goals.
