Bringing immense pride to Manipur, boxer Jendeer Thingbaijam was awarded the prestigious “Best Boxer Award” at the Professional Boxing of India (PBI) Super Boxing Series, held yesterday at a leading venue in New Delhi.
The announcement was made through an official statement by Aztecs Fight Studio Manager Salam Korounganba.
Thingbaijam earned the honor after a dominant performance, defeating Punjab’s Vishal Singh in a thrilling bout that captivated the audience and judges alike.
Adding to the celebration for Aztecs Fight Studio (AFS), renowned coach Deep Laisaram was also recognised, receiving the “Best Coach Award” for his exemplary contribution to the sport.
Manager Salam Korounganba congratulated both the boxer and the coach, stating that their achievements reflect the studio’s commitment to excellence and the rising strength of Manipur’s boxing scene.
