In response to the devastating floods wreaking havoc in Imphal East, the All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) has stepped forward to support its members affected by the calamity.
As torrential rains inundate several parts of Manipur, particularly Imphal East, causing widespread damage and displacing numerous families, the AMWJU launched a relief initiative to assist journalists facing hardship.
Led by their commitment to community welfare, the AMWJU swiftly mobilised resources to provide essential relief supplies to affected journalists.
The relief efforts include provisions such as food supplies, clean drinking water, and basic amenities crucial for survival amidst the ongoing crisis.
