Feb. 7, 2025: Over 300 applications received across various departments during the Hill Leaders’ Day and Meeyamgi Numit, held on Friday at Kasom Somrei Village in Kamjong district, were addressed immediately on the spot.
The event, held under the supervision of Kamjong DC Rangnamei Rang Peter, saw a remarkable turnout, with several benefits and services provided on the spot during the event. Under health-related initiatives, 40 individuals received benefits from schemes such as PMJAY, CMHT, and ABHA.
In the social welfare sector, the District Social Welfare Officer distributed 20 UDID cards to eligible beneficiaries.
Additionally, over 40 Aadhaar cards were issued during the event to assist with essential documentation needs.
The Fishery Department registered 20 NFDB and 15 PMMSY applications, while the Agriculture Department resolved five RKVY applications on the spot and distributed 10 Soil Health Cards to farmers.
The medical team treated over 80 patients and provided free medicines to those in need.
Meanwhile, the Education Department supported five schools by distributing school stationery and uniforms, ensuring better resources for students.
