Khangabok Development and Students Union Celebrates 10th Foundation Day

The Khangabok Development and Students Union (KADASU) marked its 10th foundation day at the multipurpose community hall in Khangabok Part 2, celebrating a decade of educational and community initiatives.

The event was graced by DC Thoubal Hannah Kahmei, IAS, as Chief Guest and SP Thoubal Shivanand Surve, IPS, as President, along with other dignitaries. KADASU honored students who excelled in competitive exams, including Erwin Khundrakpam, a NEET topper from Manipur, as well as Class X and XII achievers from Khangabok.

Addressing the gathering, DC Kahmei stressed the importance of education, urging students to seize opportunities and strive for excellence. KADASU Secretary Thokchom Kiran Meetei highlighted the organization’s efforts to foster education and competitive spirit, announcing the upcoming district-level mathematics competition, Mathadrol 1.0, aimed at encouraging participation in competitive exams.

The event also enabled students from relief camps to participate in competitions free of cost, reflecting KADASU’s commitment to inclusive educational support in the region.
