Marking the 46th birthday of Huirem Sanjoy from Haoreibi Mayai Leikai with a gesture of humanity, the Kangleipak News Tengbang Lup (KNTL) today organised a blood donation camp under the theme “Donate Blood and Save Life” at the Blood Bank of JNIMS, Porompat, Imphal East.
The event, jointly coordinated by KNTL’s executive team, saw enthusiastic participation from volunteers and members. Among those present were Saikhom A.B. Meitei, General Secretary of KNTL; Rose Maibam, Publicity Secretary; and Executive Members Debika Ningombam and Jita Wahengbam.
Speaking on the occasion, Saikhom A.B. Meitei said the initiative was organised to inspire others to celebrate personal milestones through meaningful social service. He added that donating blood not only saves lives but also strengthens the spirit of community care.
The KNTL team expressed gratitude to all the donors and reiterated their commitment to continue similar humanitarian activities in the future.
